MOR Perfume Oils - SWEET! ^^

I got this as a Christmas gift from a good friend of mine, Mel! Thank you!

We went shopping together & when I saw the packaging in David Jones I was like ooooouuuu hahah and I started looking at the Lychee one (the pink one on the RHS) and she decided to get it as a Christmas present for me! :)

They also have handcreams in these scents as well, but I wanted these perfume oils more! :)

Here is the packaging:

They were AU$19.95 each, but they had a 20% or 30% sale that day! :)
So it was cheaper!

Here's what they look like:
The one on the left is BELLADONNA and the one of the right is LYCHEE FLOWER:

So, the caps:

The Lychee one:

The Bella one:

Another look at the caps/lids:

Adorable packaging!

I have never tried this brand before - this are my first things from them and I LURVE the packaging if you can't tell! ;)

The Lychee one smelled a bit like watermelon at first - that's what I thought when I smelled the tester anyways! haha but after a while ya... more like lychee haha but like a lychee floral - smells girly!

The Bella one is more floraly than the Lychee and less sweet.

Would I repurchase?
Yes!

Application?
It's a rollerball not a spray.

Have you tried MOR before? Yay or nay?

CLINIQUE Take The Day Off Makeup Remover Review

CLINIQUE Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for lids, lashes and lips Review:

How many times can I say ouuuuchhh?

OMG... it hurt my eyes lip hell! -_-

Here's the sample I got as a GWP:

"Allergy Tesed. 100% Fragrance Free"

It means nothing to me!

Stings & hurts...

I'm allegic to Clinque's blushes too but I thought this brand would be good for people with sensitive skin?

Oh... and the sunscreen that I heard so many raves about? Yea.. allergic to that too -_-

The back:

As you can see here it I have used it and it's one of those dual phase makeup removers:

Have you tried this? Did you like it?

MAC VIVA GLAM GAGA Lipstick Review & Swatch!

I am probably one of the last people to get this lipstick!
It's for a great cause and I am a fan of Ms Lady Gaga herself!

So here is the lipstick & packaging:

Here is the lipstick colour/shade:

Swatched on the top above Rimmel's Airy Fairy:

It is a bubblegum pink colour - it looks quite bright & intimidating but it's a lustre & goes on sheerer than I thought. It can be layered.

Blue-toned pink!

I found it a bit drying but not too bad.

No allergic reactions (and I'm allergic to Chapstick!).

This is my first (and currently only) MAC lipstick!

Would I repurchase?
I've only used it once so I can't say but we'll see! :D

Have you got this lipstick? Do you like it?

Have you tried the lipgloss version? It looks good but I'm afriad it might be gloopy!

Rimmel's Airy Fairy Review & Swatches!

Pics:

Swatches:

Swatched next to MAC VIVA GLAM GAGA Lipstick!!

I searched far & wide for this shade! Everytime I went to look for it... they were all gone!! Everywhere!

Then.. I found it in my local pharmacy! :) Woot!

More pics:

Where are the swatches? I am a bad swatcher... can you just imagine it? ;)

Lol! It's true to the tube colour! :)

Smell
Umm... not a fan of the smell... not bad, but I don't really like it!

I really like the colour! :)

Would I repurchase?
I'm still thinking on this... the smell is bugging me a bit.. but I really do like the shade! It's a bit drying on my lips, but not too bad though!

This is also my first Rimmel lipstick!

What's your fave Rimmel lipstick?

Cutex Nail Whitener - not what I thought it was!

Hope every one had a great Christmas!

Here is a bottle of Cutex Nail Whitener that I have had for a while now...

Here is what it looks like on my nails:

What it claims to do:

What did I think it was?
A nail whitener... that whitens your nails as you use it... but no... it just makes you nails LOOK whiter! Lol! my bad!

I liked it as a base coat! It works good for that! :)

However, after a few years there is a slight smelll to this nail polish so I am going to remove it from my nail polish collection! :)

What base coat am I using now?
OPI Natural Nails Base Coat

What is your favourite base coat?

Comparison Swatches: OPI Rumple's Wiggin, Essie Lilicasm & China Glaze Light as Air

Comparison Swatches:

OPI Rumple's Wiggin, Essie Lilicasm &China Glaze Light as Air

I thought this might be useful to some people!

The lighest is definately China Glaze's Light as Air. OPI & Essie are EXTREMELY similar, OPI is a tad darker... the slightest - but not much! :) I am yet to use the OPI one though! :) Will soon hopefully!

Which one is your favourite?

Can you guess which one I am loving atm? ;)

Etude House Nail Polishes & Dotting Tools!

Hi all!

With Christmas near, I thought I'd share what I purchase for a few people in my life! This is only a bit of what I purchased of course! Will share more when my camera works again (have some photos on that!) So for now... we shall look at awesome iPhone quality photos!

First off...

A set of 5 dotting tools in all different sizes that I purchased from eBay! My sister-in-law does nails so I thought she'd find this handy! Next to it is a buffing file thing!

Here are some of the nail polishes I purchased as gifts (in addition with other items!) for a few people!

ETUDE HOUSE:

These are so cute! Look at the little bottles! How adorable are they?

L-R

PK007, PK003, PK012
A shimmery coral colour, a colour that looks like 'Strawberry Margerita' IMO, a baby pink.

 L-R
PK007, PK003, PK012

The following were for the BFF:

ETUDE HOUSE, Lucidarling!
These bottles were definately larger than the smaller ones above!

Also gave my mother a dark purple one in the Lucidarling (or Lucid Darling) and did not photograph it! If I remember I will & post it here later!

A bit about Etude House:

They are a Korean brand that are famous in Asian countries, and their popularity is like how MAC is in the US & Australia!

Have you tried Etude House nail polishes before?
What did you think of them?

What did you get for others? :)?

Giveaway by Mookxi!

Hi all!

The lovely Mookxi is having a giveaway not that is open until January so check it out! It is international as well! :) Woot! :D

You need to answer a few questions for the giveaway... here is what I answered for the last two:

What are the three important things that everyone should know about you ?
1) I am a night owl! I like staying awake at night!
2) I go through phases of obessions about things (eg. now I am going through a nail polish phase!)
3) I hate excerise!

Share an important life lesson/tip you have learnt. It can be meaningful, or silly. Whatever you'd like to share ;-)

Things happen for a reason because no matter what, you are always better off today than you were yesterday! :)

Good luck everyone!

Michelle Phan Interview on Thai Live Show - WoodyMorning 17Nov10 2/3

Here is Michelle Phan doing an interview/press thing on a Thai Live Show and she shows how to use her IQQU's Advance sunscreen (in the new packaging), she shows how to redifine eyebrows, apply eyeliner and mascara.

She shows her business card trick using Lancome's mascara. It looks like Hypnose!  She uses Lancome's powder compact as a mirror as well (probably because she is sponsered by them) so you get to see these products in action!

What did you guys think?

CHANEL Lipstick Like Maybe Love - Rouge Allure 78 Instinctive

After much deliberation I gave in and decided to purchase my first Chanel lipstick...

The Rouge Allure 78 Instinctive

Pros:
- pigmented
- lovely scent - not overpowering
- sleek packaging
Cons:
- The lipstick has some weight to it (but other Chanel lip products do too, i know! But just saying!)
- Not much product
- The price... but it is Chanel...
Overall:
I really like it but I am not sure I love it yet because I have not used it much... so it's a like maybe love!
Even just looking at it was worth the price though! ;)
What's your first Chanel lipstick? Do you love it?
Lara xo

I LOVE Christian Dior Lip Glosses & Lipsticks!

I seem to be developing a thing for Dior lip products... lip product crush! ^^

All products were recently purchased (in the last month or so) besides the Dior Creme De Gloss in 255.

I only own 2 Dior lipglosses atm.
But hopefully I will be aquireing more soon! ;)

The ones I own & love are:
Left to right
- Dior Creme De Gloss in 255, 6mL
- Dior Addict ultra-gloss Glow in 236, 6.3mL

The lipstick I have been wearing most regularly these days & loving to pieces because it is not so pigmented & looks like 'my lips but shinier':

It is Dior's Dior Addict High Shine in 260 Rose Couture/ Couture Pink
As you can see in the swatch above, it is very sheer. Sorry about the body hair - but every one is a bit furry! Deal with it! :p

Another recently purchased Dior lipstick:
Dior Addict Lipcolor in 863 Rose Bustier/Pink Bustier
I have not tried this out yet... will do soon! :)

Do you like Dior lip glosses or lipsticks?
Do you own any? What are your faves?

SIGMA MAKEUP Retractable Kabuki Brushes!

Remember how I told you guys Sigma Makeup had a Black Friday thing going on where all shipping was free?

This is what I picked up:

Miss Taylor Retractable Flat Top Kabuki Brush

Something About Marilyn Retractable Kabuki Brush

I am yet to try them out but will let you guys know if I like them or not later!
Initial reactions:
- Very surprised at the sturdy boxes - much thicker than I expected
- The colours look cool
- They both appear to be relatively dense
- They both have a loose retractable bottom - this should not pose to be a problem but it annoys me somewhat
I am very excited to have gotten these!
Price:
Both US$25.00 each
Have you got these brushes? Do you like them?
If you don't have these brushes - would you consider getting them?
