10 Signs You are Falling In Love (For Guys and Girls)

Love. What exactly is it? How do we know when we are in love?

I know there are a lot of people who claim to be in love every other day. But is that truly love? Or just simply lust?

According to Wikipedia, love is:

"an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment"

to someone or something (I am assuming).

People can go through life never truly falling in love.
Or they can confuse love for other emotions - like lust. Or simply satisfying an ego, or sexual need.

10 signs you are falling in love...
(when you are in a relationship/dating/other):

1) You spend a lot of time thinking about him/her. Everyday!

2) When you buy something for yourself you wonder if they would like something too.

3) You NEED to see them almost everyday. You miss them otherwise. And it just feels weird.

4) You put their needs in front of yours. This is a toughie and not everyone pasts this hurdle. Can you be in love and still thinking about yourself first? That is truly debateable. But in my opinion. Yes, you can be in love with them, but you just love yourself more.

5) You cannot imagine life without them.

6) You would do things for them without them asking.

7) You know what their daily /weekly schedule is.

8) You know what they want to do in  life and want to be a part of it.

9) You can see a future with them.

10) You miss them when they are not around. You text them/ call them a lot because they are on your mind continuosly. When you do no hear from them you get anxious and wonder how they are. (This is an extension of number 1!)

How do you know you are falling in love?

Have you ever finished a bottle of nail polish?

Me?

Yes!
:D

It was a black nail polish by an Australian brand called Ulta3!
They are only $2 each at pharmacies!!
By finish I mean there was like 2.769872% nail polish left and there was no way I could get anymore nail polish out! It decided to gloop up and yea... tossed it!

I also have finished a few mini bottles of Seche Vite Top Coat!
Too many to remember actually! Lol! They are so tiny!
Very cute but they goop up super quick too!! -_-
I can't imagine having the full size & having to mess around with nail polish thinner!!

After some internet research I found that it is not uncommon for people to NOT finish a whole bottle of nail polish... many of the answers received for the question of this post was a firm "NO, NEVER!!"

Here are a few answers I found interesting...

"What qualifies as "finished" for a bottle of nail polish? I get fed up when the brush doesn't reach the polish anymore and the polish is thick from being exposed to the air after so many uses..." - Source here

"I have got to say I have never finished one. It is just one of the wonders of life you know."  - Source here

"I have never finished a bottle either, but in reference to the people saying that you can’t finish a bottle because the brush isn’t long enough, maybe nail polish companies follow the same policy as nailtiques (who make the strengthening formula no. 2). The say on their website that “The brush is designed not to touch the bottom of the bottle, but we will assure you that no liquid amount is lost because of the brush length. If the bristles were designed longer, they would eventually curve at the ends, not allowing the formula to be applied smoothly. For this reason, each bottle is filled above its stated capacity to compensate for the remainder of liquid left in the bottle.”" - Source here

Have you ever finished a bottle polish before?
What was it?

Quote of The Moment, I Need to Declutter! & Cute puppy pics!

Quote of The Moment:

"If you don't stand for something,
you'll fall for anything."
- Anon

I love this quote! Not sure of its originals though, sorry. If you know, let me know! :)

Now....

Here are the thoughts and frame of mind I am in atm since I will be moving soon and need to get rid of things!!

DECLUTTER!!!

I have a bunch of stuff written in a notebook so I am going to type a few of them up here...

- Clutter = visual noise

- It's better to have less of what we love than to have lots of what we like!

- All makeup and beauty products should be used within 3 years of production.

- Makeup should all fit into one cosmetic bag if it doesn't you have too much!

- If you haven't worn it in a year, you're unlikely to start now - goes for clothing and makeup!

Need help decluttering?

Here is a webpage I've bookmarked to come back and read sometime: here!
Looks super useful!

Cute puppy and dog pictures:

Not sure what breed this puppy is... do you know?

Husky!

What's your fave quote of the moment?
What's your thoughts on decluttering?

Is he moving mountains for you?

Source of image: here

What do you guys think about what this woman says about men?

"...when men want to be with a woman, they will move mountains.
When they don’t, they hesitate over every little thing."

Do you agree? Disagree?

How much is too much... when it comes to beauty products?

I seem to have collected quite a few beauty items - this means... makeup, skincare products, hair products, nail products ra ra ra...  and it has come to my attention that I may not be able to use them all because they "expire" (When Does Makeup Expire?) Have you ever come to that realisation?

I seem to just buy and buy... is it because I am afriad I will run out of product? Is it because they look so pretty to collect? Is it because of both? I have been getting a lot better ahha... I mean I do use the products... I just get allergic to some... and then I give it to my mother... who seems to be allergic to NOTHING (except Shiseido's White Lucent Line)!

I've been trying to convince myself that all the products I have I will never be able to use up soon... so I need to stop buying and to try more using... could that be made into a catchy slogan?

Buy less... use more??

I blame this on consumerism..... haha... you know... product marketing making it look like I need to buy things when I realy don't!

Anyways... as I have said I am getting better... lol... the last few years I've been cutting back on spending and what not... at one stage my husband had more perfumes than me! So yeay! But then again guys don't have that many beauty products do they?

First of all... when was the last time I used up a tube of lipstick? Yes, used up as in used the whole darn thing up? A couple years ago about a year or so after being married to my husband that I first discoverd makeup... it was AVON lipstick in sheer buff! Loved the lipstick! :D So that was a few years ago now... never used up another lipstick since!

So... I need to stop buying:
- lipsticks (have way too many...)
- eyeshadows (never seem to use them... how many uni students front a full face of makeup to uni everyday? hmmm? not aye!!)
- perfumes (I recently purchased some so no need to buy for a while!)

Umm.. I no longer use foundation so I don't purchase that anymore... that saves a lot of hassle! ^^ So hard to find a foundation that is awesome (product & packaging) that doesn't break me out!

Hmm...

Nail polish! I have way too many... I need to blog about them hahah... NOTD! I give so many to my mother because some colours just don't suit me! My mother swears she never needs to buy anymore nail polish... or lipsticks (last night I gave her my MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick, a few weeks earlier I gave her my Rimmel Airy Fairy lipstick), perfume (yesterday... I gave her 2 100mL bottles of Lancome's Miracle EDP not to mention countless others before that!) ... and other beauty products for the rest of her life because of me! lol! Bet she's glad she had a girl! LOL!

This shows how wasteful I am! :( I am glad I have a mother who appriciates beauty products though! OTherwise it would be a REAL waste!

What do you do with products you no longer use? I give them to my mother, and if she doesn't want them I post them on MUA. My past swap can be seen here and here on this blog.

What products do you no longer purchase? Or don't purchase and why? Maybe it can help cut down my spending too! ^^

DEBATE: How Long Does Make Up Last? Does it expire?

Does makeup expire? Yes!

Like most other things, for example food, drinks, nail polish, shampoo...

it DOES expire... contrary to a few people's opinons...

I don't know about you guys but here are my guidelines... what I usually go by!
I know many people keep theirs for less or more though!

When to throw out?
Signs you need to throw your makeup out:
- when there is a 'bad' smell
- when the makeup is all crumbled or when you touch it, it crumbles
- when it has hardened (and it was not like that before!)
- when you use it and you get itchy skin!

I roughly keep makeup for about this long for my items:

Liquid foundations: < 1 yr
Powder foundations/blushes/bronzers: < 2 yrs
Powder eyeshadows: < 2 yrs
Liquid/Mousse eyeshadows/blushes/bronzers: <1 yr
Lipsticks: < 2 yrs
Lipglosses: < 1 yr
Pencil Eyeliners: < 3 yrs
Liquid Eyeliners: < 1 yr
Eyeshadow primers/bases: < 1.5 yrs

Do you agree? Disagree? Comment below!
