Love smelling like... Lush Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly 100g

The pics above are when I first got them! Smelled soooooo good!! :D  Love this Shower Jelly!!

Thank you to my friend Christina who got this for me!! :D There was also a Glitterbar (Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar) with this which I will review at a later date!

Pros:

- smells very good!

- Love the feeling of it on my body!! Slipperly and very nice!

Cons:

- ran out too quickly!! :(

- I had bits of it all over my shower floor! But that's alright - just wash it down the drain!

- I wish it came in a squeezy tube to be more hygenic. But that's ok! I washed the container after I used it and keep my lipglosses in it now!! Recycle! Reuse! :D Waste not, want not. ;)

Wearing time?

Pretty good! Pictures show 2 days wear. By the 3rd say still minimum wearing.

Would I repurchase?

I like this colour, but not love. It is a subtle colour, and I ahve only worn it once so I may love it in the future.

We will see!! For now, now, but I would love to try more Sephora by OPIs! :D

How many coats did I use?

OMG.... 5-6 coats!!

How was the formula?

TOO thin & watery for my tastes. It is a sheer - EXTREMELY SHEER nail polish.

How was the drying time?

Too long for my liking. I am impatient hahah!

How is the shade?

I think this shade would be a perfect office shade. It looked a bit weird on me though,so I owuld say if you were a bit tanner, it would be the perfect nudey colour! :D

Where can I purchase this from?

The USA. I got this as a birthday gift from my friend who went to the States :D She also got me 2 more, so look out for them in future posts! :D

Would I repurchase this?

NOOOOOOOOOO! WAY too thin. Not worth it!!

Do I love this combo?

Yes!! It looks like a rainbow spewed up on my fingers hahaha! Love love!!

How many coats did I use?

2 coats of OPI & 1.5 coats of DL

(by 1.5 I mean I used one coat, then had to go over several parts of the nail that had no glitter!!)

Would I wear this nail polish combo again in the future?

Yes! For sure! Unless removing it is a bigger pain than normal! Lol! But all glitters are a pain to remove unfortunately! :(

Shiseido Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss Neo - PK247 Review

First off, let me say IT IS SOOOOO CUTE!!

Size/amount:

6.5g, it is smaller than your average lipgloss and totally adorable! :D

Where can I get it from?

What I like about it...

- cute

- nice colour in packaging but it doesn't really show up on the lips but that is okay!

Staying power?

- YES!! If I could I would get more!!

Chanel 475 Dragon - Classic Red NOTD

How many coats did I use?

2 coats of colour

Please note...

These swatches/photos are after 3 days of wear!

How is the formula and coverage?

-Can be opaque in 1 coat! Amazing coverage! I did 2 coats out of habit :D

- A bit thick but, better than a 5 coater... lol!

- Brilliant formula

- Relatively fast drying time

How was the wear?

- Chanel formulas tend to last a while on me with relatively less tip wear than other brands :)

- Amazingly I can get 7 days wear out of a mani with Chanel sometimes!

- Usually other brands last me only a few days, so I think it makes the price of Chanel worth it because it stays on so long!! :D

- I change it before 7 days sometimes though because of course there is some tip wear (that is minimal tip wear) - but not many chips though (about 2 or 3?). If it was another brand, there would be heaps of tip wear and so many more chips!

- I am pretty OCD about my nails though, and me having the smae colour on with heaps of tipwear is just something I would not like! But the tip wear after 7 days for Chanel is sometimes still really okay.

- Oh Chanel.... it is LOVE! <3

Packaging?

- LOVE the cute as bottle hahaha ^^

Price?

AU$39 a bottle

Like or love?

- I LIKE the colour - but not so sure if I LOVE it (esp. for the price!)!

Also...

- It is a classic saturated red

- It leans brown on my skin

Would I repurchase?

In this shade? Probably not, but I am a Chanel nail polish lover so others for sure! :)

NOTD: OPI ROAD HOUSE BLUES

Hi guys!

How is September treating you?

Current NOTD comes from OPI's latest collection - Touring America!

My fave of the collection!

Applies smoothly & opaque in 2 coats! Looks black on the nails though!! Which is kind of a bummer, but you can expect that I guess.
The name indicates it may be blue, it looks purple in the bottle && on the nail looks black lol!
If you look really closely, there is the TINIEST HINT OF BLUEY-PURPLE!

I still like it though!

It wears pretty well for a dark-coloured nail polish - lasted me for about 3 days before showing minor tip wear, on the fourth day, you could still get away with it! I'm tempted to take it off & reapply! But I have SOOOO many other nail polishes to try in my stash!!

Smell?Refreshingly, unisex, citricy, pleasant & with no hints of floral fragrancing!

Do I recommend it?I am not sure how much this runs for, but I do like it overall as a good nourishing handcream. The price would be on the higher side I believe, so I'd recommend it as a splurge or as an occasional use hand cream. For everyday long term use, unless you had the money to spend, there are cheaper alternatives.

Rating:

4/5
- 1 for the anticipated pricing, but it is really a nice, moisturising hand cream with a pleasant unisex scent that is a joy to use. The scent may be a bit TOO heavy for some, and too heavy for regular use, so this is also considered in the rating!

Essie Good To Go Top Coat Review

pros:

- fast drying

- nice square bottle

- clear bottle

- nice brush

cons:

- does not work with OPI nail polishes for me... or any other nail polish brand... ONLY ESSIE... this may just be me? But it chips in a couple days with other brands :( booo!!!

would I repurchase?

maybe... but I have a backup of this :) (in an upcoming haul!! tune in!!) and will use that happily with Essie nps only

The cause of my addiction: Butter London Fash Pack – Swatch & Review (NOTD)

Here is my single lonely Butter London nail polish!

As the title suggests… it was the nail polish that started my addiction!! How did it happen?

I grocery shopping & it was attached to one of the magazines, (I already had the mag but bought another copy to give a copy to my mum & kept the nail polish on the new mag! :D)

So... prior to this, my mother had given me 2 nail polishes - A clear Rimmel one (which I have finished! So no longer in my collection!) and a Cutex frosty nail polish (I love!! I have used sooo much of it! So afraid to use it all up but will cuz it's perfect for Summer & Spring pedis!!!!)

So I started with 2 nail polishes.... (I had more but purged ages ago & they were cheap brands!)

&& then... BA DA BAM!!!!

This came along!

&&&& I began to purchase more nps.... -_-

ahhaha

- This may be a dupe for Chanel's Particulere (is that how you spell it....?)

- Nice fall shade... but it's a bit meh for me now... maybe just my mood lol - I will give it another chance later.. I have been into bright colors these days!

This is what I wanted OPI Dim Sum Plum to look like (still need to post up NOTDs & swatch of that! :))

It was a bit sheer, 3 coats to full opacity.

Nivea Whitening Inner Cell Repair Cream - Face & Body - Review

Price: reasonable from what I remember!

(I had previously typed up this post but Blogger didn't save it... so here I go again... a shorter version because I am so annoyed -_-... not only can my new computer not transfer my new photos from my iPhone, tell me why!!?? but Blogger is super annoying....)

Pros

- UV protection

- quickly absorbed into the skin

- non-offensive smell

- non-greasy

- reasonable price

- no fuss packaging

Cons

- not available in Australia in stores - need to purchase online

- would be better as a tube (the packaging)

- not thick enough for my liking (a bit runny) - would be great as a face moisturiser but I used it as a handcream *but now i am onto VS hand and body creams so now I use it as my foot cream* I had purchased 10 of these now only have one left!! So I think I will try others - too inconvienient to by online!!

Like a baby... Johnson's baby bath! Empty & Review!

So... I finished this the other day! Actually I finished two of these off! I think they had a sale or something so I decided to buy two! I'm weird like that! Anyways, going through 2 whole bottles of these things.... I htink I qualify to review them!

Scent

Smells like baby powder? Nothing offensive at all. It's not like yummy or anything but othing special either.

No more tears?

Lol.. not sure... didn't get in my eyes!

Color?

It's blue!!

Would I repurchase?

Yes, I may, it's alright - price is alright, I mean nothing special about it but the bottle is a good small size so that's good. The blue liquid is cute lol... I will be trying out other body washes so I don't think I will settle on any just yet! But this is in my top 10 because a) affordable, b) simple not too fragranced, c) good simple and small packaging, d) doesn't clash with other scents, e) nothing offensive, f) I have nothing bad to say about it!

Verdict?

If it is good enough for a baby, it's good enough for me! lol!

As I said, I have nothing bad to say about it so I may repurchase in the future - a great everyday body wash! :D

I am using The Body Shop Peach Bath and Shower wash at the moment! Will review that at a later date!

Japanese Cherry Blossom Bath & Shower Gel - The Body Shop - Review

Showing here is the 60mL travel size version, but if you have been following me... you would know I have also purchased the full 250mL size after trying this!

I recceived this as part of a Christmas gift with a few other things - you know those packs they have on special occasions all packed up? This can with the body lotion as well, whcih I will review at a later time :)

Smell

Lovely!! Very nice & not too strong or overpowering

Texture

Runny, just like a shower gel should be

Does the smell last on your skin after the shower?

Not sure, because I moisturise after... but after I get out of the shower I can smell a hint of the shwoer gel. I think unless you use a lot of this gel, you will not be smelling it on yourself all day because I have said, it is a nice and light fraganced gel.

Are there other products in this line?

Yes!

Do I have them?

Yes! I have the body lotion, body mist, and the eau de toilette!!

Do I like the scent?

Yes!

Will I repurchase this particular shower gel?

I have an unopened 250mL bottle of this in my beauty stash so safe to say I have repurchased it, however, because it is relatively expensive in Australia... with NO SALES!!!!!! I think i may have to pass on this in the future - unless I receive it as gifts because it is just a but too pricey for my budget at the moment. However, if you can afford it, I would recommend you give it a try, at least once! :D
