Chanel 487 Rouge Fatal - Swatches & Review (NOTD)

My first time wearing this polish.

I was disapointed with the wear, but this may just be due to my application or the fact I did housework right after painting my nails!!

I wore this on my hands & did a matching pedi... but took them both off after day 2 because somehow I didn't like how the mani was wearing... as for the pedi? It was fine, I just felt like a colour change! (After 2 days? I know right? What's wrong with me! It's Chanel!!)

It is winter here in Oz so thought I would bust out this shade.

On the fence about it... I will be wearing it again soon, and let you guys know what I think! :) It deserves a 2nd chance! (After what I paid for it!! lol!!)

It cames that you can keep it for 24months (2 yrs) after opening it... does anyone go by these btw?

 Swatched a few times - it is so hard to use! I cannot get a smooth line!

After I put it under water and wiped it:

After a while... it set & I had to use makeup remover to use it since after water.. it looked liked this:

Is it available in other colours?
Only black and brown.

How is the eyeliner brush that comes with it?
It is portable - very cute but the brush is a bit stiff - I think after using it a while it will break in!

Would I repurchase?
Unless I figure out a way to make it so that I can draw a straight line.... perhaps not!


What is your fave cream/gel eyeliner? I want to try out the Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliners! :)

This is a new shade! I purchased this recently from Priceline and tried it on when I got home! :)

I purchased it full price... now to find out that it is on sale at 30% off! :( Bummer!! Lol... anyhoos...

Pros:
- I really like the colour - perfect for the office work environment too!
- Conservative colour

Cons:
- Only lasted 2 days before it started chipping & peeling - not too much but it annoyed me
- I removed it after 3/4 days.

Would I repurchase?
It would probably take me a while to finish up this bottle, but say I dropped & broke it? Yea... I think I would buy it again! :)

I found this fragrance to not be very long lasting on me.

It is feminine but I don't find it to be unique or anything out of the ordinary. 

A definate safe fragrance that doesn't stand out but would make a perfect gift for any woman in your life - I can imagine any age group wearing this fragrance! :)
