My new Essie Nail Polishes! (Small Haul)

My super small China Glaze Nail polish collection

I only have 5 China Glaze nail polishes in my collection! How did this happen? :0

China Glaze definitely is a great brand that tends to be overshadowed by OPI and Essie, but in terms of quality and choice of shades, they are definitely comparable!

I guess I am just really picky with with nail polishes I keep - I purge often!

The ones that made the cut are:

Snow
Something sweet
Re-freshmint
Lemon fizz
Midnight kiss

But yea, still single figures lol

No worries, this shall be rectified in the near future!!

Essie Mojito Madness Swatch - NOTD & Review

 

Hey guys!

So today I am wearing Essie's Mojito Madness from their Bikini So Teeny 2012 collection.

This was a 2 coater for me (although I had some patches).

I had some trouble with this formula though... what has been up with Essie's formulations these days? It was pretty thick but I am very happy with the colour. It is also a perfect green to support Australians in the London Olympics! ^^

What do you guys think of this shade? Yay or nay?

So it's no secret that I have quite an addiction to nail polish! I don't have any of these Essence nail polishes though! Look at all these pretties!

Essie Off the Shoulder Swatch & Mini Review

My NOTD is Essie's Off the Shoulder from Essie's new collection Bikini So Teeny (2012).

The formula was pretty horrible - goppy, not self-leveling & applied horribly. I was not impressed. I'm a huge Essie fan but this polish's formula really let me down.

I used 3 coats for opaqueness. The color really needed 3 coats.

It's a nice bright pink shade that took me by surprise as to how bright it is. It's winter here now and I'm still rocking the brights on my nails. I will have to wear this shade for a few more days before I decide if I really like this shade or not.

What do you guys think of this shade?

Can you guess this OPI nail polish? NOTD/swatches!

I've been really liking this shade! It's an untried that I recently got around to trying. I've used it several times in the past month! :) Really been liking it but just wish the formula was better :(

It's OPI congeniality is my middle name.

Would you keep & use a nail polish that had a bad formula?

I used OPI Yoga-ta get this blue & OPI I Lily Love You (cutest name or what?)

I like it but..... I am not loving it... I am so lukewarm about the OPI Yoga-ta get this blue!! To be fair I've had this for well over a year and only wore it twice!

My mom loves OPI Russian Navy so I think she'll love this! So I'm going to give it to her since she will get more use out of it. :)

Have you ever had a nail polish that was highly raved about but when you wore it, you just never felt 'into it'?

Got this for my boyfriend recently & his first reaction when I gave it to him?

"Isn't this for a 10 year old?"

Le what? I said "no"! Lol! And he used it :)

I think the monkey is called Paka? I don't know, but I think it's cute! Bright yellow!

OPI Yoga-ta-get this blue

This is only the 2nd time I've worn this nail polish. I have mixed feelings about it.

I used 2 coats to reach opacity.

What do you guys think of it? Yay or nay?

OPI Big Apple Red (NOTD/Swatches)

One of my many untrieds! 2 coats = great coverage with no VNL. Love. This is a great classic red - no orange tones, slight brown tones on me, but if you ate paler I can see it leaning a bit blue on you.
